STARTERS PRICE

Cape Malay Kerrie - slow braised English mutton, apricots & tomatoes  in Cape Malay spices served with yellow rice & sultanas drizzled with syrup, bananas & yoghurt and Mrs Ball’s chutney (GF) £10 / Half £7
Eisbein, tender smoked ham hock, served with orange spiced roast beetroot & onions on a bed of sautéed new potatoes with an orange dressing (GF) £10 / Half £7
Grilled Kingklip, (South African sustainable white fish) served on a bed of sauteed winter greens & roasted sweet potatoes with a Chenin Blanc butter sauce, finished with toasted almonds (GF)  £17
Bobotie, created from South Africa’s fusion of backgrounds including Dutch cooking, Cape Malay spices and English left-over’s (like Shepherd’s Pie this was a classic Monday dish) – we add grated apple and carrot to lightly spiced beef mince & lentils, topped with a savoury egg custard made with yoghurt & eggs served with tomato & onion sambal, yellow rice & sultanas drizzled with syrup and Mrs Ball’s fruit chutney  £10 / Half £7
