Christmas at The Stork

Christmas is about tradition - families getting together and generally having a good time! So what could be more perfect than The Stork? A traditional old coaching inn with log fires, stunning surroundings and fabulous food to hold your office Christmas party or festive family gathering, where everyone is made to feel relaxed and welcome.

This year the staff at The Stork have brought together an imaginative festive menu. It contains elements of their South African background fused together with some more traditional tastes such as the delicious main course of roast turkey - a very British tradition stuffed with South Africa’s spicy beef sausage – boerewors.

As you would expect from The Stork, all meals are home-made for that just-cooked taste and contain only the finest locally sourced ingredients. Local supplies such as those from Old Holly Farm and Talbot’s Bakery ensure your Christmas meal is one you’ll remember and that you won’t find anywhere else.

Children are always welcome and The Stork has a special menu available for to choose from as well as smaller portions of some main courses.  We have both indoor and outdoor activities and games to keep them amused while you sit back and enjoy yourselves.

Unusually, vegetarians will be spoilt for choice as The Stork’s team bring you some delicious meat-free alternatives that will tempt even the most ferocious of meat eaters to try something veggie. 

Other dietary requirements can be catered for, just let us know what they are at the time of ordering and we’ll do the rest.

Our Christmas menu is available from Monday 30th November 2009 to Thursday 24th December 2009, we’re closed for Christmas Day but for Boxing Day and New Years Day we have another festive menu, perfect for those of you who have had enough of cooking!
